Neuromodulators are prescription medications regulated as Schedule F drugs under Health Canada. They are administered by licensed practitioners during in-clinic procedures. These treatments work by temporarily relaxing targeted facial muscles, which can help soften the look of lines that appear with expression. Results are temporary and vary by individual.
Results:
It takes 14 days to reach peak effect, and results typically last 3-4 months.
Downtime:
No social downtime (pinpoint redness for a few hours). Temporary redness, bruising, mild swelling, or tenderness at the injection site may occur.
