Results:

Downtime:

Typically, after the finishing touch protocol, patients may resume work or normal activities immediately post treatment. It is normal to have redness and very minimal swelling after treatment. You may experience mild redness for 1-2 days and feel a minor itching/dry/tight sensation. Some patients may experience a slight breakout or purging of the skin which typically clears up in a few days. After about day 3, there may be some residual redness, dryness and flaking remaining. Full recovery with normalized function is typically seen after 4-5 days.

Patients are advised to avoid the following activities & practices for minimum 48 hours post procedure:

Sun exposure (including tanning beds)
Intensive cardio or exercise
Other clinical treatments (ie microdermabrasion, laser, chemical peels, filler injections)
Tattooing
Applying high doses of active topical skincare (ie retinols, hydroquinone, AHA, BHA, chemical sunscreens)
Excessively hot showers, baths or saunas
Self or spray tanning
Swimming in chlorinated pools/lakes/oceans
