The intended use of AQUAGOLD® is to inject low doses of drugs into the skin, making it a microinjection or microchanneling device. This differs from traditional microneedling as the device is not limited to solely stimulating the skin (ie, collagen production) via microtrauma.
Pure gold helps reduce the risk of skin irritation and allergic reactions as it has a high biocompatibility with human skin.
